2020 Chevy Silverado Most Powerful And Strongest Pickup Truck
The 2020 Chevy Silverado resume Chevrolet’s long line of pickup trucks, a tradition that lasts more than 100 years. In 2019 Silverado appeared on the market with new powertrains, new trim levels, a new platform new everything.
What’s New for 2020?
Last year, Silverado was completely redesigned though changes for 2020 are minor but changes in engine power can be seen.6.2-liter V8 engine trickles down the lineup and is now offered on the LT Trail Boss, Custom Trail Boss and RST trim levels.
Аs an option can now be found the 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder on the Custom trim level, while it’s standard on the LT and RST. The 5.3-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management can now connect to the 10-speed automatic transmission.
It is standard on the LT Trail Boss version and optional on the High Country. All other versions that have a 5.3-liter engine with a DFM stick are with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Technology is also fully upgraded, with a 15-view trailering camera system trickle down to the 1500 and the Silverado HD’s new trailering apps.
How big is it?
The Chevy Silverado Crew Cab is huge with a large cargo space. Here you can get a three-person 40/20/40 split-bench upfront or bucket seats with a full center console. For the three-person front bench, it is made available decent storage space, the armrest, a pair of sizable cupholders, bin under the seat and a decent place to store your phone.
While at bucket seats with a center console there are not many intelligent solutions so here as with anyone Silverado utilizes a space-saving column-stalk shifter. The thinner, taller walls presented last year have resulted in a bed which is one of the most important segments. The maximum payload of Silverado ranges from 2,130 pounds for a 4×4 Crew Cab to 2,280 for a 4×2 Regular Cab. That’s a few hundred pounds more than a Ram 1500 or F-150.
What’s the interior and in-car technology like?
The Silverado’s cabin is the least attractive and competitive detail lagging behind competitors Ford F-150 and Ram 1500. despite being a very minor upgrade over the previous Silverado, the segment is much improved and therefore can be expected more than what the Silverado’s interior provides.
This vehicle is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, and an Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. Starting from popular LT trim, you get an 8-inch touchscreen, OnStar, in-truck 4G LTE WiFi, and two extra USB ports.
There is also the possibility of add extra USB ports, audio upgrades, various trailering apps and aids, wireless smartphone charging, multiple camera systems for parking and trailering.
